Sandhill
Challenge
|
This
is a record of our awards won in the Sandhill Challenge.
This is a competition where students design and
build a gravity powered car. High Schools then compete
by pushing their car and coasting down Sandhill
Road in Palo Alto. This competition traditionally
involves students from high school engineering classes.
In 1998, our auto tech class decided to take on
the engineering classes and our first entry was
constructed on a budget of $25.
